42: The Sun'll Rise... Tommorrow
Posted by Trimble on February 17,2005 Thanks to Xeno I'm late to my own curtain call. If you haven't read it before, both Bidaihyo and Mirage Seio are going on a long hiatus so I can code and test several tools and a totally new version of our primary image application. My series' have been plagued by slow work progress, poor processing, and just getting caught when trying to draw scenes. So I decided it would be better if I took the time off drawing to pursue the evolving needs for our bitmap editor. Over the duration of bidaihyo chapter 2 I've learned enough about Paint Shop Pro to do a lot of my work through it and yet I know it can't efficiently do what we need. Here then is my last drawing relating to my projects for the forseeable future. It quite nicely illustrates the strengths and weaknesses of my artistic and writing styles. What you see are Akia and Jay relaxing with a blacked-out Clevaland in the background. Most of chapter 2 attempted to accurately describe how the massive 2003 NorthEast blackout occured with my characters as the catalyst for the string of events. Yet as they don't exist, this is purely a fictional recounting meant to give me plot, give you history, and lead to the next engineered moment of beauty. If there's one thing Lanai excels at, it's getting complicated events to lead to the transitory moments of beauty we all experience individually. I thank all whom have followed bidaihyo thus far and hope to continue both stories in the future. In the meantime I'll continue to assist Xeno with eStop and I'll have a posting there to ensure you are informed when either starts up again. Thank you. -{ Brian Trimble }- |
